Preparing for your interview experience
You will be on your way to a successful interview experience by completing the steps below. Please note that all times listed are in Central Time.
- Choose your interview date at mdapply.washu.edu. We ask that you plan to be available from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on your selected date. You will have two Zoom faculty interviews scheduled on the date you choose. You will receive an email approximately two business days prior to your interview date with your specific interview times and the names of your assigned interviewers.
- Submit your Interview Day Photo.
- Watch the Gateway Curriculum video.
- Check out the Virtual Interview Day packet that you received in the mail. Packet items are also available on our website.
- Plan to attend the following sessions via Zoom during the week of your interview. You do not need to register or sign up for either of these events:
- Dean’s Welcome. Offered Tuesdays at 4:30-5 p.m. and Thursdays at 8-8:30 a.m. Please choose one session to attend. If your interview is not on a Tuesday or Thursday, please try to attend a session on an adjacent date during the same week. Casual dress.
- Meet the Students (optional). Offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7–8 p.m. If your interview is not on a Tuesday or Thursday, please try to attend a session on an adjacent date during the same week. Casual dress.
- View our self-guided virtual campus tour. Get to know our WashU Medicine Campus and St. Louis by taking a self-guided virtual tour.
- Why WashU Wednesday (optional) sessions at 5–6 p.m., beginning mid-October. You will be notified via email of the dates, topics and how to register for these sessions. You are invited to attend as often as you like. Recordings of select past sessions are available on our website. Casual dress.
