October 30, 2023: MSTP-related: LAST DAY for individuals applying to the MSTP (MD-PhD) Program to submit their WUSM supplemental application
November 6, 2023: MSTP-related: Letters of recommendation should be submitted by this date
November 22, 2023: LAST DAY for MD-only applicants to submit their AMCAS application to Washington University School of Medicine
November 30, 2023: LAST DAY for MD-only applicants for Washington University School of Medicine to receive your:
- Supplemental Application
- Recommendation letters
- MCAT Scores
December 26, 2023: First round of admissions decisions released. Official notification will come via our admissions portal, mdapply.wustl.edu. In many cases, accepted applicants will also receive a congratulatory personal phone call.
February 12, 2024: Second round of admissions decisions released. Official notification will come via our admissions portal, mdapply.wustl.edu. In many cases, accepted applicants will also receive a congratulatory personal phone call.
March 4, 2024: Third round of admissions decisions released. Official notification will come via our admissions portal, mdapply.wustl.edu. In many cases, accepted applicants will also receive a congratulatory personal phone call.
March 25, 2024: Fourth round of admissions decisions released. Official notification will come via our admissions portal, mdapply.wustl.edu. In many cases, accepted applicants will also receive a congratulatory personal phone call.
April 15, 2024: LAST DAY by which we notify you whether you are Accepted, Not Accepted or offered a position on our Wait List
April 30, 2024: Selecting “Plan to Enroll”, or PTE, is required in the AMCAS Choose Your Medical School Tool. Per Washington University School of Medicine policy, applicants must reduce their number of acceptances to medical school to one school, thereby holding only one acceptance position. Per Washington University School of Medicine policy, applicants may hold waitlist positions at other schools.
July 1, 2024*: MSTP-related. Selecting “Commit to Enroll”, or CTE, is required in the AMCAS Choose your Medical School Tool for incoming MSTP students. Per school policy, MSTP applicants must select Washington University School of Medicine as the medical school they wish to attend and relinquish all waitlist positions at other medical schools.
July 15, 2024*: First day of lab rotations for MSTP (MD-PhD) students
July 22, 2024*: Selecting “Commit to Enroll”, or CTE, is required in the AMCAS Choose your Medical School Tool for incoming MD students. Per school policy, MD applicants must select Washington University School of Medicine as the medical school they wish to attend and relinquish all waitlist positions at other medical schools.

The AMCAS application verification process can take up to 4-6 weeks from the time your application and all required official transcripts are received by AMCAS and may take longer during peek processing times. Please note that WashU Medicine will not receive your primary application until it has been verified by AMCAS.
