The cost of education, also known as cost of attendance, (see table below) includes tuition, a health fee, a general student fee, and estimated living expenses, also known as cost of living. The health and general student fees include health care coverage, hospitalization or disability insurance, and access to public transportation (MetroLink; MetroBus).
Tuition Stabilization Plan
For all incoming students, tuition, merit scholarships, and need-based scholarships are fixed and stabilized for four years of the Gateway medical curriculum, providing an estimated upfront cost of medical education. Health and general student fees are subject to annual change. This helps students and their families plan for educational expenses. Students have the option to apply for additional aid if their family or financial situation changes during their time in medical school.
