Patricia Jimenez, MD
Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Patricia Jimenez, MD, is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology. She is from Texas and earned her undergraduate degree at Rice University in history and her medical degree at UT Southwestern. She completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Washington University. After completing fellowship, Dr. Jimenez returned to UT Southwestern with NIH funding as a Reproductive Scientist Development Program scholar. She joined the faculty at Washington University in 2017 and has been the reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship program director since 2019. Her interests include general infertility, endometrial development, recurrent pregnancy loss and the impact of obesity on women’s health. She is involved in undergraduate and graduate medical education at Washington University and nationally. She is a member of multiple societies including American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Investigation, Endocrine Society, and Obesity Medicine Association. Outside work, she enjoys time with family, reading multiple books at the same time, listening to podcasts and cooking.
