Nathan McLamb, MD
Assistant Professor of Pathology and Immunology
Nathan McLamb, MD, is originally from North Carolina where he obtained a Bachelor’s in Science from North Carolina State University and Doctorate of Medicine from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. After medical school, he completed his Clinical Pathology Residency training with Harvard at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. After residency, he practiced Clinical Chemistry and Blood Banking in Grand Rapids, Michigan for approximately 3 years before he completed a Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine Fellowship with Washington University in St. Louis at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. After completion of his fellowship, he became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University in St. Louis where he now serves as Medical Director of Transfusion Medicine for St. Louis Children’s Hospital and several community hospitals in the BJC system.
