Linda X. Wu, DO, MBA
Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
Linda X. Wu, DO, MBA, is a pediatric hospitalist at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, working with children admitted to the hospital, in the emergency room, and with newborn babies. She received her undergraduate in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, and was a human factors engineer before pursuing medicine. She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree from Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then completed a pediatric residency in a global health track at Emory University in Atlanta. She is a faculty scholar in the Institute for Public Health at Washington University and recently earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Washington University’s Olin Business School.
Her medical interests include patient safety, clinical research, underserved medicine and global health, and healthcare advocacy. She also has an interest in technological innovation and device design. She’s currently a mentor for Sling Health St. Louis (a student-run biotechnology incubator), and was very active within the American Medical Association (AMA) previously.
She grew up in four countries (China, Sweden, Canada, and the U.S.) and has lived in 15+ cities. Her hobbies include learning about other cultures and exploring the world, biking, swimming, and dancing.
