Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Katie Wolfe, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Washington University/St. Louis Children’s Hospital. A native of St. Louis, Wolfe earned her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University and her medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She completed pediatric residency and pediatric critical care medicine fellowship training at Northwestern University/Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Wolfe was a faculty member at Northwestern for four years, serving as the associate fellowship program director for pediatric critical care medicine, clerkship director for the medical student ICU rotation and contributing to the residency program. She came to Washington University in 2021. Her primary academic interests are curriculum development, interdisciplinary education and team work in the ICU. She loves working with trainees and learners in developing their individual paths in medicine.
