Foluso Ademuyiwa, MD, MPH, MSCI

Professor of Medicine

Dr. Ademuyiwa is an associate professor in the Division of Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine and specializes in breast cancer. She earned her medical degree from University of Ibadan, her master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and master’s of science in clinical investigation from Washington University School of Medicine. Ademuyiwa completed residency training in internal medicine/pediatrics at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale New Haven Health, and fellowship in hematology/oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine. She is board certified in medical oncology, internal medicine, and pediatrics.

Ademuyiwa is principal investigator on several clinical trials in breast cancer, and extramural and intramural grants. Her main research interests are in triple negative breast cancer and racial disparities. She is also active in training the next generation of medical oncologists. She is a member of several societies including the American Society for Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, NRG Oncology, and the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. In recognition of her clinical work, her peers have voted her as one of St. Louis’ “Best Doctors” for the past four years.

Her hobbies outside of medicine include traveling, watching movies, and reading.
