Andrea Hagemann, MD
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Andrea R. Hagemann, MD, MSCI, is a proud alumna of the WashU Medicine class of 2004. She continued at Washington University for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. She later received her master of science in clinical investigation through the MTPCI program at WashU. At present she is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. She is a busy surgeon and clinical oncologist, with research interests in minimally invasive oncologic surgery, perioperative outcomes and cancer prevention strategies, and is the leader of a project in the NIH-funded Route 66 SPORE in Endometrial Cancer. Her husband, Ian Hagemann, MD, PhD, is known at WashU Medicine for his gynecologic pathology and genetics lectures. At home they have two teenagers, as well as a black lab who was a gift from a special patient.
