Adam Greenblatt, MD

Assistant Professor of Neurology

Dr. Adam Greenblatt, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Epilepsy Section of the Department of Neurology.  Originally from New York, Dr. Greenblatt spent his formative years obtaining his BS in neuroscience and biology at Brandeis University before completing his MD at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.  He subsequently pursued post-graduate residency training in neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina and subspecialty epilepsy training at the University of Pennsylvania.   

Dr. Greenblatt has varied clinical interests that include better understanding which variables influence surgical epilepsy outcomes and which factors underlie responsiveness to neuromodulatory strategies in drug-resistant epilepsy.  In addition to supervising the epilepsy neurostimulation program at Washington University School of Medicine, he serves as director of the University’s ACGME-accredited epilepsy fellowship program and is a member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee for the American Epilepsy Society.  Dr. Greenblatt also serves on the Committee of Admissions for the Medical School as well as the Medical Staff Professionalism Committee for Barnes Jewish Hospital.  

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time exploring St. Louis with his young children, playing chess, traversing St. Louis’ foodie scene, and diving head first into new learning opportunities on MasterClass.
