Parisa Mazaheri, MD, is an assistant professor of radiology in the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and joined the faculty at Washington University following completing a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology at Washington University School of Medicine, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology.  Mazaheri is active in several professional societies, including the Radiological Society of North America, the American Association of University Radiologists, the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Neuroradiology, the American Society of Head & Neck Radiology, and the American Association of Women Radiologists. At MIR, she is a member of the women in radiology group. Mazaheri’s clinical practice focuses on brain, spine, and head and neck imaging and spine procedures. Her main research interest includes head and neck imaging and workflow improvement.
