Kathryn Filson, MD

Kathryn Filson, MD, is an instructor of medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating magna cum laude with highest distinction in chemistry. Subsequently, she earned her MD at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors. She completed internal medicine residency training at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. After completing residency, she joined the Division of Hospital Medicine at WashU, working as a hospitalist. She is a member of the Leadership Committee and serves as the chair for the Compensation Committee within the Division of Hospital Medicine.
