Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Brian Stotter, MD, is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM). Originally from Westfield, NJ, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Brandeis University and medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center and pediatric nephrology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Stotter practices as a pediatric nephrologist at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, with clinical interests including autoimmune glomerular diseases and kidney disease in pediatric cancer patients.

Aside from his clinical duties, Dr. Stotter has a passion for medical education. He serves in the core faculty for the pediatric residency program at WUSM/St. Louis Children’s Hospital and is the program director for the pediatric nephrology fellowship program. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Larisa and their dog Oreo. His hobbies including travel, crossword puzzles, bowling, and watching St. Louis sports teams.
