Assistant Professor of Anatomy

Ashley Morhardt, PhD, is an assistant professor of human gross anatomy in the Department of Neuroscience at Washington University School of Medicine. She is also the collaborating paleontologist for the St. Louis Science Center. Ashley holds degrees from Illinois College (BA), Western Illinois University (MS), and Ohio University (PhD). Morhardt’s research focuses on the evolution and ontogeny of brains in extinct dinosaurs, as well as technique development for diffusible iodine-based contrast-enhanced Computed Tomography (diceCT).
