Associate Professor of Psychiatry

Akinkunle Owoso, MD, is an associate professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine.  In the Department of Psychiatry, he serves as the medical director of the outpatient resident clinic, as well as assistant program director for the psychiatry residency.  His clinical work includes attending on the psychiatry consultation services and outpatient clinics, teaching both residents and medical students.  His research and clinical interests include psychotic disorders, psychosomatic medicine, and cancer psychiatry. 

Owoso earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma and then completed both residency and research fellowship training at Washington University.
