Crystal Azu, MD, MPH
Assistant Professor of Medicine
Crystal Nnenne Azu, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor of medicine at Washington University of St Louis School of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology. She completed her medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
She completed an internal medicine residency and global health certificate at Indiana University School of Medicine and was an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine prior to completing a cardiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina. She joined Washington University faculty and maintains a clinical practice in general cardiology and cardio-obstetrics. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Her research interests are on maternal cardiovascular outcomes in vulnerable populations.
