Moh’d Khushman, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Division of Hematology and Oncology) at Washington University in St. Louis. He specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies and he serves as  the co-leader of the Developmental Therapeutics Oncology Focus Group and the chair of molecular tumor board.

His clinical interests are focused on gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies. He is also trained to treat patient with hepatic arterial infusion pump (HAIP) and HIPEC. He has been the local principal investigator, co-principal investigator, or steering committee member for several national and international clinical trials covering gastrointestinal cancers and other solid cancers.

His research efforts are focused on biomarkers discovery and their incorporation in investigator-initiated trials, molecular profiling of GI malignancies and their clinical applications, germline pharmacogenomics and the translational impact of exosomes. He has published several peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters on potentially promising biomarkers, molecular profiling of GI malignancies, pancreatic cancer, germline pharmacogenomics, exosomes, and on other hematology-oncology related topics in journals such as Lancet Oncology, Pancreas, Pancreatology, Clinical Cancer Research, ESMO Open, British Journal of Cancer, and Scientific Reports.
