
Lisa Stevenson, MBA
As assistant dean for student diversity and engagement, Lisa Stevenson directs planning, implementation and evaluation of key initiatives integral to the Office of Diversity Programs’ mission of preparing a diverse student body to become leaders in a vibrant, global society. Leading the effort to recruit and retain students from groups traditionally underrepresented in medicine, Stevenson serves on the Committee on Admissions (COA) as a member of the COA Leadership Team. She works closely with the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA), the LGBTQ Med Student Group and the Diversity and Inclusion Council (DISC).
Stevenson earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Harvard University and her master’s degree in business administration from Washington University. Prior to joining the Office of Diversity Programs, she worked as a human resource consultant and analyst before moving on to the position of associate director of multicultural recruitment in the Undergraduate Admissions Office on Washington University’s Danforth Campus.
