Basia Blachut, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University before coming to WashU for her medical school and residency training. She is passionate about women’s health, and specifically has an interest in cancer risk assessment and cancer genetic predisposition syndromes. She is active in teaching both residents and medical students. Her hobbies outside of medicine include spending time with her dog, traveling, running, and attending local festivals.
