Vinita Alexander, MD, MSCI, FACOG, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility (REI) physician in St. Louis and a clinical instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine. Alexander earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, with majors in chemistry and physics, and received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. During medical school, she spent a year at the National Institute for Health (NIH) as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI)-NIH Medical Research Scholar.
She completed her subspecialty fellowship training in REI at Washington University in St. Louis. She completed OB/GYN residency and a year-long pelvic surgery fellowship at Emory University. Alexander earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) from Washington University. Her clinical interests include premature ovarian insufficiency, diminished ovarian reserve, and hormonal therapies.
