Kelly Currie, MD

Assistant Professor of Surgery

Kelly Currie, MD, is an Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University in St Louis, and she is the Associate Program Director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program.  She is originally from Buffalo, NY and trained in General Surgery at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY.  She went on to train in Plastic Surgery at the University of Colorado in Denver and completed her training with a Hand/Microsurgery Fellowship at Southern Illinois University in 2017.  Her interests include surgical education, simulation, improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine, improving health disparities, and community outreach.
