
Seung K. Kim, MD
Seung K. Kim, MD, is an assistant professor of radiology and of surgery. He earned his medical degree from Kyung Hee University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, in 1995. He completed medical training with a diagnostic radiology residency and abdominal radiology fellowship, both at Samsung Medical Center of the Sungkyukwan University School of Medicine in Seoul. He also did an interventional radiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston.
Kim is an interventional radiologist who specializes in interventional oncology such as chemoembolization, radioembolization, microwave ablation and cryoablation. Other areas of interest includes uterine fibroid embolization and portal hypertension interventions. He serves as a reviewer for several radiology journals. He has published several papers in international peer reviewed journals on radiologic science. Outside of work, he likes to travel and enjoys golf and tennis.
