Ramakrishna Venkatesh, MD, MS, FRCS

Ramakrishna Venkatesh, MD, MS, FRCS, is professor of urologic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and serves as the school’s fellowship co-director for the endourology, laparoscopy & robotics program.  Concurrently, he is chief of urology and associate chief of surgery at Christian Hospital, Barnes-Jewish Health Care and research director for Midwest Stone Institute, both in St. Louis.  He is a faculty member at Siteman Cancer Center.  His specialty areas include urologic surgery, minimally invasive urological techniques, and prostate cancer.  He is board certified in surgery and urology.

Venkatesh earned his MD and a MS degree in surgery and a surgery residency at Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore University, India.  He completed further training in surgery and urology at the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow, United Kingdom.  He completed research and clinical fellowships in endourology and laparoscopy at Washington University School of Medicine.
