Lindsay L. Peterson, MD, MSCR

Lindsay L. Peterson, MD, MSCR, is an associate professor in the Division of Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine and specializes in breast cancer. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University and her master’s in clinical research from the Medical University of South Carolina. Peterson completed residency training in internal medicine and fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Texas Health Sciences at San Antonio. She is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. Peterson is principal investigator on several clinical trials in breast cancer, with both internal and external grant funding. Her main research interests center around improving outcomes in patients with cancer through lifestyle interventions, including diet and exercise. She is a member of several societies including the American Society for Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, American Society of Prevention Oncology, the Cancer and Aging Research Group, and the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. Her patients have voted her as one of Washington University’s top physicians in the Department of Medicine, in regards to patient satisfaction.

Her hobbies outside of medicine include traveling, all things outdoors (camping, hiking, running) and seeing live music.
