Assistant Professor of Medicine
Anthony Dao, MD (he/him), is an assistant professor of internal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine. He grew up in Dayton, Ohio and completed his undergraduate and medical school education in the combined BS/MD program at the Northeast Ohio Medical University in Akron. After completing residency training in internal medicine at Washington University/Barnes Jewish Hospital, he joined the Divisions of Hospital Medicine and General Medicine, working primarily as a hospitalist. His leadership roles include being an associate program director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and the OUTmed Director, WashU’s LGBTQIA+ advocacy group. He works with medical students as the advisor of medical student group LGBTQ+med and through their Phase 1 immersions and Phase 2 clerkships.
