Thomas Blanke, MD

Thomas Blanke, MD is a St. Louis native.  He received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and also completed a Surgical Residency at Washington University-Barnes Hospital.  He was a Clinical Instructor in General Surgery  at the University of Texas, San Antonio, Senior Surgical Registrar in Birmingham, England, Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery and Instructor in Surgery at Washington University.  During residency he dabbled in immunology research.  Dr. Blanke was in private practice in St. Louis for 33 years.  He’s a St. Louis Symphony season ticket holder, enjoys riding his bike on the KATY trail, flying RC model airplanes, and spending time with his chocolate lab, Riley.
