Terry Ritzman, PhD
Terry Ritzman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at the Washington University School of Medicine and in the Anthropology Department at Washington University. Dr. Ritzman is a member of the teaching faculty for the first year gross anatomy and neuroscience courses taught to incoming medical students. Dr. Ritzman earned his PhD in Anthropology from Arizona State University in 2014, and his research focuses on the comparative anatomy of the skull as it relates to human evolution. In particular, Dr. Ritzman’s research uses medical imaging modalities (MRI and CT) and direct study of human fossils to investigate the the evolution of the brain and skull.
