Robert J. Mahoney, MD

Robert J. Mahoney, MD, was born in Somerville, New Jersey. He is an associate professor of internal medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.

Mahoney achieved a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Princeton University and his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. After completing an internal medicine residency at Washington University, he joined the WashU faculty. He holds membership in several professional societies, including the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians — American Society of Internal Medicine, and Society of Hospital Medicine. His current interests include health information management and information technology.
