Associate Professor of Psychiatry

Mina Charepoo, MD, is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine and specializes in adult psychiatry. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed residency training in adult psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine. She is board certified in adult psychiatry.

In addition to practicing in-patient psychiatry, Charepoo also does work in civil forensics. Dr. Charepoo was appointed as a commissioner for the Department of Mental Health of Missouri by Governor Mike Parson in January 2019.

Her hobbies outside of medicine include raising chickens, hot yoga, and traveling with her husband and three children.
