Marvin Rennard, MD

Marvin Rennard, MD, is a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology emertus. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington University, a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in anatomy from the University of Missouri, and his medical degree from Washington University. He subsequently served his residency at the Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Maternity Hospital in St. Louis.

Rennard retired from obstetric practice in 1986 after delivering more than 8,000 babies and subsequently focused on gynecology before retiring from practice in April 2001. He has always been committed to teaching with special emphasis on surgical anatomy. He served on many hospital committees, including Medical Staff Council, Reappointment and Promotions Committees, Perinatal Mortality Committee, Surgical Review Committee, Medical Advisory Committee to Bone and Mineral Metabolism Section on Osteoporosis, and Surgical Enhancement Program Development. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has also been active in the community, serving on the Clayton (MO) Board of Education.
