Maria B. Majella Doyle, MD, MBA
Dr. Doyle is an associate professor of surgery and director of the Transplant HPB Fellowship Program in the Department of Surgery’s Section of Transplant Surgery. She earned her master’s degree at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland, in 2004 and completed her medical degree and residency at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, along with a clinical research fellowship at the National University of Ireland in Cork. After coming to St. Louis, Dr. Doyle pursued further training with fellowships in abdominal organ transplant and pancreatic and liver transplant at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She earned a master’s in business administration from Washington University in 2012.
Her areas of clinical interest are liver transplant, living donor transplantation, and hepatobiliary, gall bladder and pancreas surgery. Dr. Doyle’s research interests include clinical outcomes, especially focused on liver transplantation and hepatobiliary malignancies.
