Kari Allen, PhD
Dr. Kari L. Allen is an assistant professor of Anatomy in the Department
of Neuroscience at Washington University School of Medicine, with a secondary appointment in Anthropology. She is also a member of the first year anatomy teaching faculty.
She received her M.A. in Anthropology at New Mexico State University and her Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy at Duke University.
Dr. Allen’s research uses medical imaging, three-dimensional visualization, and shape statistics to evaluate the anatomy of the brain and dentition in fossil and modern primate species.
