Jonathan Mullin, MD
Jon Mullin, MD, is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine. Originally from Cincinnati, he earned his bachelor’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University. He completed his pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowships in both hospice and palliative medicine and bioethics at Harvard Medical School. He is director of the Pediatric Palliative Care Fellowship, and associate program director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine, Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
Mullin practices as a pediatric palliative care physician, with an expertise and focus on end-of-life care in pediatrics, care of children with severe neurological impairment and medical-decision making. His education interests include communication skills training at all levels of medical education, and bioethics. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, travel, and sports with friends and family.
