Fay Womer, MD

Fay Womer, MD, is currently an associate professor of psychiatry at
Washington University School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and biochemistry at Washington University in 1999 and her medical degree at the University of Connecticut in 2003. She underwent residency training in psychiatry at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University and postdoctoral research training at Yale University. She returned to St. Louis and joined the faculty at Washington University in 2009. ¬†Womer is the director of Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Siteman Cancer Center Psychiatry Consult Service. She has clinical and research interests in depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.
