F. Thomas Ott, MD

ott_t[1]F. Thomas Ott, MD, earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society. After completing an ophthalmology residency at Barnes and McMillan hospitals, he practiced ophthalmology in St. Louis for more than three decades. Assistant professor emeritus of clinical ophthalmology and visual sciences at Washington University, Ott enjoys golf, bridge, gardening, traveling and grandparenting. He raises and hybridizes orchids and serves as a judge for the American Orchid Society. He is the immediate past president of the Garden Club of St. Louis and is the St. Louis liaison for The Garden Conservancy.
