Eva A. Hurst, MD
Dr. Eva A. Hurst is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Dermatology, and she practices as a dermatologic surgeon.
Dr. Hurst grew up in Flippin, Arkansas. She is a graduate of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minor in biology. Dr. Hurst received her medical degree from Washington University and completed her dermatology residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she served as chief resident. Following residency, she completed a combined procedural dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship at UCSF.
Dr. Hurst is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She actively serves on several committees for these organizations. She is also a guest reviewer for Archives of Dermatology. Her areas of clinical expertise include Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancers, cutaneous oncology, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
