Darryl A. Zuckerman, MD
Dr. Darryl A. Zuckerman, assistant professor of radiology and surgery and director of the interventional radiology fellowship program, was born and raised in New York City. He obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate College of Medicine in Syracuse and did residencies in internal medicine and radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center followed by a vascular radiology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital. An interventional radiologist, his special interest is in interventional oncology, a field that deals with using minimally invasive image-guided techniques to provide targeted therapy to tumors. He serves as a reviewer for several radiology journals and has been recognized as a fellow in the Society of Interventional Radiology and the American College of Radiology.
Outside of work, he likes to travel and enjoys tennis and skiing. Still fond of New York and its sports teams, he remains an avid fan of the Mets and Jets.
