Chesney Castleberry, MD

Dr. Chesney Castleberry is currently Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Department of Cardiology.  She received her MD from University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio and pediatric training at Northwestern University, cardiology training Medical College of Wisconsin, and advanced training in Pediatric Heart Failure and Transplantation at Stanford University.  She joined the faculty at Washington University in St. Louis as part of the advanced cardiac therapy team specializing in end stage heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  Her primary area of interest is clinical outcomes research and the use of large registry databases to understand and improve care.  She is also a site PI on the first clinical trial investigating immunosuppressant regimens in pediatric heart transplant and completing her Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation at Washington University in St. Louis.
