Catherine Krucylak, MD
Catherine Krucylak, MD is currently an assistant professor of anesthesiology at WUSM and a pediatric anesthesiologist at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Shriner’s Hospital for Children. Her practice is geared toward clinical instructing and mentoring. Her primary interests are in the management of the difficult pediatric airway, the patient with complex cardiac comorbidity and the preoperative optimization of the patient with significant comorbidities.
She joined the faculty at WUSM in 1993 after a year on staff at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. her pediatric anesthesiology fellowship training was at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She completed a pediatric residency at CHOP followed by training in anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her undergraduate and medical degrees are from Rutgers University and Medical School.
Dr. Krucylak enjoys cooking, traveling and time spent with family.
