Andrea Hagemann, MD

Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Andrea R. Hagemann, MD, is a proud member of the WashU Med alumni class of 2004.  She continued at Washington University for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. She is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. She is a busy surgeon and clinical oncologist, with research interests in minimally invasive oncologic surgery, perioperative outcomes and cancer prevention strategies.

Hagemann is currently working towards a master’s of science in clinical investigation, through the MTPCI program at Washington University. Her husband, Ian Hagemann, MD, PhD, is known at WashU Med for his gynecologic pathology lectures. Together they have two kids, ages seven and three, and an 11-year-old yellow lab from their WashU medical student days.
