We are pleased to announce that the LGBTQ+ Health Provider Directory is now available online.
Created in response to requests from patients and referring physicians, this directory lists health care providers in the WUSM/BJC health system who have self-identified as interested in providing culturally competent care to LGBTQ+ patients. We hope that this will decrease barriers to care by making it easier for patients to find a provider that meets their needs.
We are also excited that the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at WUSM has committed to support the LGBTQ+ Health Provider Directory by linking to it on the upcoming version of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion website. This will increase the visibility and accessibility of this resource to our WUSM community and the greater St. Louis community.
We hope our directory will continue to grow, and we recognize that there are many more providers throughout the WUSM system interested in providing care to the LGBTQ+ community. Please help us spread the word to anyone who would like to be included.
